“DiWine” journeys

Tailored itineraries to discover the best Italian
wines and their landscapes

Usually called ‘nectar from heaven’, praised and depicted in odes, works and poems by artists of all ages, it is the drink par excellence, inebriating, engaging, the one that stimulates minds, senses, moods and feelings: we are talking about wine of course!

Wine is born with humanity, and with humankind grows and evolves, accompanying it on its path as a faithful friend. But wine can be and ‘must’ also be poetry.

Over the centuries, there have been many poets and non-poets who have paid tribute to this nectar, which is the result of the combination of nature, creativity and man’s work.

Mario Soldati, Italian writer and film director wrote:

Wine is the poetry of the earth.”

More and more people are approaching the wine world, and they do so with curiosity, interest and even healthy fun.

Wine is many things together: culture, history, conviviality, lifestyle.

Everyone chooses to approach this ‘nectar’ differently, based on a single factor: what they want to receive from it. It is a drink that fascinates thousands of people all over the world. In addition to its various peculiarities to be discovered and researched, it also intrigues for its particular production process.

Man has often considered this drink a true godsend: from the Roman Bacchus to the Greek Dionysus, up to the Egyptian god Osiris, there are countless divinities associated with the origin of wine.

This is the reason why the stories and myths related to it are varied and numerous, bewitching and incredibly seductive legends.

And the history of wine is certainly no less fascinating than myths: it is a story that speaks to us of land, art, nature, great passion and ancient cultures, of hard work and immense love for the territory.

The rediscovery of a native vine variety, the return to vineyard cultivation in an area, a wine never produced before: these are interesting news.

The “wine-VIP” is not interesting to communicate. There are people who have money to spare and, for fashion or whim, buy an estate, have the best winemaker and expect to make great wines right away. But what is the history? Have they ever picked a bunch of grapes? What do they do in the cellar?

What is the AdPersonam proposal?

With this proposal, we have designed an emotional journey able to make those who experience it understand that even within a glass of wine, they can find a world, a universe made of earth, sun, traditions and work.

We have selected the best of each Italian Region and we want to tell about the people who make wine and their history, why they decided to make it, how they make it and, above all, where they make it.

Our proposal, “Diwine journeys”, is a geographical and sensorial journey that will take you along magnificent roads and cellars, discover the hidden charm, the people and the stories of the world of our Italian wines together with small villages and fascinating panoramas. Sight, smell and taste will be the allies to discover what lies behind the elixir of Bacchus so that you can face a glass of wine with awareness.

We truly think that wine is an encounter with a product, with its producer, and with the idea that animates it, as well as a way of getting to know the area in which it is made.

Wine has a historical and geographical typicality, at the crossroads between nature and human endeavour, which makes it a product that is always different and unpredictable. Tasting it means refining the tools to face the mystery that each bottle contains.

We shall share what Mario Soldati wrote: “Wine is like poetry, which is best enjoyed, and truly understood only when one studies the life, other works and the character of the poet, when one becomes familiar with the environment where he was born, with his upbringing, with his world. The Nobility of wine is precisely this: it is never a detached and abstract object, which can be judged just by drinking a glass, or two or three, of a bottle that comes from a place where we have never been. ”

So what are you waiting for? You choose where and for how long… we will take care of the rest!
